Come celebrate our 2SLGBTQIA+ graduates of the Class of 2026 as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

All graduating 2SLGBTQIA+ students (undergraduate, graduate and Continuing Studies) are invited to attend this event with friends and family. The event is open to the McGill community, and alumni are encouraged to join the celebration and to welcome the new graduates to the Alumni network.

The celebration will include a cocktail reception, speeches, and the presentation of certificates to each graduate.

The Lavender Graduation Ceremony is an annual celebration that honours the achievements and contributions of McGill's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Pansexual, Questioning, Two Spirit, Non-Binary, and Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) graduates, and their allies and families.

L'événement célèbre les étudiant.e.s 2SLGBTQIA+ diplômé.e.s et leurs réalisations alors qu'ils entament leur vie après McGill. Nous espérons également contribuer à l'autonomisation des personnes historiquement marginalisées, en renforçant le sens de la communauté et de la solidarité, et en offrant aux diplômé.e.s un espace sûr pour entrer en contact avec d'autres membres de la communauté 2SLGBTQIA+ de différentes facultés.

La célébration comprendra un cocktail, des discours et la remise de certificats à chaque finissant.e.

La Collation des grades Lavande est une célébration annuelle qui honore les réalisations et les contributions des personnes lesbiennes, gaies, bisexuelles, transgenres, queer, intersexuées, pansexuelles, en questionnement, bispirituelles, non binaires et asexuelles (2SLGBTQIA ans et plus), leurs alliés et leurs familles.
