MAA Ottawa Book Club: "The Frozen River"
Join the MAA of Ottawa Book Club on April 11th to discuss our next exciting book club pick, The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon

Set in 1789 Maine, the story follows midwife Martha Ballard after a body is found frozen in the Kennebec River. While others dismiss the death, Martha suspects something more and begins uncovering secrets within her tight-knit community. Inspired by real events, this historical mystery explores justice, truth, and the courage to speak up.

New members are always welcome and don't forget to bring ideas for what we should read next! Registration for the in-person discussion meeting is free; food and beverages are pay-as-you-go.

We hope to see you there!
