Our guide, heritage professional Cynthia Klaassen, will lead us in an exploration of the area's fascinating history, including early contributors to Calgary's story such as the McHugh and Riley families.

Along the way we'll also examine the geography of the community, its parks and green spaces (including some small odd shaped triangular parks) and look at examples of historical houses and building styles.

At the end of the walk, we'll have an opportunity to convene over refreshments on 10th Street.
