MAA Geneva: Private Tour of Homo Faber 2026
Special opportunity open exclusively to McGill alumni and their guests.

McGill alumni are warmly invited to join a private tour of Homo Faber 2026, the Michelangelo Foundation's celebrated biennial exhibition of contemporary craftsmanship. The exhibition is held on the magnificent island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.

Founded by Johann Rupert through the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, Homo Faber has become one of the world's most prestigious showcases of exceptional craftsmanship. Bringing together master artisans, leading designers, and extraordinary makers from around the world, the exhibition offers a rare and inspiring glimpse into the highest levels of creativity, craftsmanship, and savoir-faire.

As a special opportunity reserved exclusively for the McGill community, alumni and their guests are invited to enjoy complimentary admission and a private guided tour, generously offered by the Michelangelo Foundation. Tour duration will be 1-2 hours long.

Following the tour, participants are welcome to join a lunch gathering at the Homo Faber Trattoria, an immersive dining experience created especially for the exhibition by acclaimed artist and designer Es Devlin. A reservation will be arranged for the group; food and beverages will be at participants' own expense.

For any questions please contact Erin Surprenant at erin.surprenant@mail.mcgill.ca.
